  • Researched arts admin (development, community engagement, ethical arts, and marketing), theatre-making (theatre and society, modes of theatre-making, arts collaboration, and all aspects of rehearsal and design), and literary development (dramaturgy and research, new works management).

  • Participated in town halls on leadership theory, decolonization in leadership & the arts, equity & social justice in the arts, nonprofit theories, & structural operations of arts & nonprofits; wrote blog posts.

  • Produced, directed, and performed dramaturgy for a virtual production of Asking for a Friend (Green, 2020), a new work, as part of a virtual theatre festival; ran casting, created sides, made sound cues, and ran Zoom webinar during live production.

  • Led board of 9 members; managed liaisons between career center and community; connected students with Hollywood execs and with other students to collaborate on projects.

  • Created new mentorship program & connected 30+ students; collaborating on virtual film festival.

  • Planned Q&As with Stanford alumni working in entertainment (inc. Jeffrey Silver and Aleen Keshishian); moderated events of ~50 attendees.

Ram’s Head Theatrical Society, Publicity Manager

  • Spearheaded initiative to highlight a different BIPOC member each week; created “Trivia Tuesday” to spread institutional knowledge and increase engagement using weekly quizzes on Ram’s-specific trivia.

  • Solicited for Gaieties 2020 auditions, staff apps, and WiSh apps including creative grid posts, interactive story ideas to answer questions about auditions, and soliciting reasons why people should audition.

  • Created and distributed promotional materials for series of workshops — including one with David Henry Hwang and one with Charlie Alterman.

  • Created detailed Instagram and Facebook posting plan

The invitation to our annual end-of-year Gala.

  • Fostered a sense of community and a safe space through weekly coffee chats, anonymous feedback, a fun variety of social activities (including big parties, alcohol-free events, self-care events, study groups, and our annual gala).

  • Wrote fun engaging emails using gifs, photos, different colors, and weekly themes based on different movies and musicals to keep attention, provide comic relief, and give information about weekly events.

  • Kept up a Google Calendar to inform community members about upcoming social events and created a GroupMe to keep community informed in a more casual way and to share jokes.

  • Created virtual social events to keep community together during quarantine including group workouts, movie nights, baking parties, MSPaint Bob Ross Paint’n’Sip, weeklong Mafia, game/poker night, campfire story night, and Sims Twitch streams.

  • Ran collaboration with Ram’s Head Theatrical Society for 2019 Original Winter One Acts by running meetings, delegating tasks, choosing plays and providing feedback, and aiding the producer.

  • Created community and social events including music video watch parties, weekly gender conscious play readings, movie nights, and more.

  • Collaborated with rest of board to decide on 2018-2019 season: play readings in the fall, Stop Kiss by Diana Sun in the winter, and Hero and the Journey, a new work by Ezra Jackson-Smith, in the spring.

  • Designe and coordinated costumes, props, and makeup to Dr. Voynich and Her Children, a new work by Leanna Keyes

  • Designed and created costumes for 25 actors.

  • Budgeted $1,000 of finances between thrifting costumes, ordering on Amazon, upcycling old costumes, and makeup.

  • Mentored two young professionals — both of which continued their roles as costume designers in the show the next year.

  • Collaborated with staff from rehearsal, lighting, sound, and set design to create a holistic production.

06/18-08/18

  • Voice, acting, and dance work in feminist, political theater production.

  • Performed and volunteered at all-day educational seminar on the Trojan war.

  • Attended and aided in weekly educational film series on Greek tragedy and mythology.

  • Participated in weekly talk-backs with the audience after the Sunday matinee.

  • Aided in publicity with social media and postering.
